Union membership has it perks. For a very long time, I only thought my membership with our “co-operative” union NTUC, served as an instrument to only get rebates from buying stuff at their supermarkets(I just got my 5 bars of soap “free” with the linkpoints yesterday…keke), and have usually ignored those EDMs (Electronic Direct Mailers) that one frequently receives from them. To my surprise, it actually has pretty worthwhile events, offers, discounts amongst other things worth partaking in or viewing. In our busy lives, I guess we often fail to stop for 3 seconds and “smell the roses”, a sadly overlooked moment of digression and reflection in which to recharge ourselves. So I’m sharing one such event in this post if anyone’s interested (only $2, get FREE resistance band somemore ahhh…WAH). I also intend to share more if I see anything good that comes along the way in the near future. Stay tuned
*Disclaimer: I’m NOT trying to make you sign up to be an NTUC member.
